Finding Joy In The Ordinary ✨

Appreciating the simple things in life is sometimes easier said than done. It's so easy to get wrapped up in the busyness of the day. For today's post I decided to take a moment to express my gratitude for the small things that keep me grounded.

  • I'm feeling so thankful for my little home gym, especially on days where we are snowed in. I'm still able to get my body moving!

  • This recent photo of me with a dear friend since I was 18. Not bad for 95! So grateful for his many years of life and advice.

  • Instead of big resolutions, I'm paying attention to small habits that make ordinary days feel better. Check out this resolution of my daughter's when she was little - too cute!
  • My granddaughter Leighton constantly brightens my day! She is almost 9 months old, moving and grooving along, and keeping mom and dad on their toes! She met Santa without a single cry, and check out the matching sweaters with mom! I can't wait to see her next week.

  • After enjoying Christmas and welcoming the new year, we found ourselves watching our first Ft. Myers Beach sunset of 2026. A gentle, beautiful way to ease into what's ahead.

We all know how fast life moves, but if we pause for even a moment, we can notice the quiet blessings that surround us every day. I hope these little observations inspire you to start noticing the small joys and gentle wonders in your own life!
